Starting in 1985 with just two trucks in Broward County, Coastal Comfort owners Tim Waterhouse and Tony Plastini were up to the task, working tirelessly over the years to grow their company. Today, we are a leader among HVAC companies in Pompano Beach and South Florida, fielding a fleet of 35 vehicles that service four counties – from the Florida Keys to Palm Beach.

While the business has gotten considerably bigger, Tim and Tony run it with the same hometown touch favored by Tim’s father, Clarence Waterhouse, who played a vital role in helping them get started. Clarence and Betty Waterhouse moved to South Florida in the 1940’s where Clarence opened his own gas station and then an auto parts business. He taught Tim and Tony the old-fashioned way of doing business, with a handshake, smile and sincere commitment to keep your word. Clarence passed away in 2002, but his admirable spirit still sets the tone for the hard work, integrity and dedication of all Coastal Comfort employees.
